The corridor was designed to go somewhere. Records still disagree on whether the forward district was completed, removed, destroyed or merely planned. There is no requirement to resolve the discrepancy before using the bypass.
The service tunnel to the left remains the useful route. No lighting subroutine responds here. Portable illumination is adequate.
